The Stage area Comprises of a
Main Stage Area :- 8.5m Wide x and up to 9m Deep
This includes 1m of apron staging and adjustable back cyc.
Height of back cyc :- 5m
Back Stage Area :- 12.5m Wide x 3m Deep (depending on stage depth)
Apron Stage :- 12.5m Wide x 1m Deep.
Above the stage we have a gantry area either side of the stage which gives access to the counter weight system for lights and scenery. This allows easy access to lighting and the dropping in of scenery.
The Apron stage can be removed or adjusted to accommodate the needs of the production.
There is a sectioned back Cyc which can be removed to give full access to the stage area making the total depth from the apron to the back wall of 10m.
Access to the back stage is via 3 doors:
one leading to the dressing rooms, one leading to the front of house gallery area and one that gives access to the outside for loading and unloading of scenery and props. This a standard double door with access from the loading area.
There is also a single fire door which again gives access to the side of the Theatre and acts as stage door entrance to the dressing rooms.
So there are no issues with set or prop access!
